North Park Beer Co.
North Park Beer Co. is a brewery and taproom in San Diego's North Park neighborhood, founded by head brewer Kelsey McNair and his wife Amanda, both former video game developers. Kelsey's Hop-Fu! IPA became the most award-winning homebrew recipe in history in the American IPA category, and after years run out of the couple's North Park garage, the brewpub opened in June 2016. The flagship taproom at 3038 University Ave has an exhibition-style 15-barrel brewhouse, a scratch kitchen and The Dark Bar for barrel-aged beers, with further locations in Bankers Hill and a Crown Point pizza shop. Known for award-winning IPAs, hazy IPAs and lagers.
